Hello everyone and welcome back, hope you all had a good winter
Ive set up a Forum Scorum league for 2015 (league ID: 75432)
Now I have a new laptop, im going to try and run a league in a similar points scoring manner to last year and take on from Ray...
Right ive now edited this with how the points will work, it will be very similar to last year
Rules/Points
Grand Tour Overall:35,20,15,10,7,5,4,3,2,1
Grand Tour Purist Overall:10,7,4,2,1
Multi Stage Race Overall:10,7,4,2,1
Multi Stage Race Overall Purist:5,4,3,2,1
Autumn Classics/Spring Classics/Worlds/Womens World Cup Overall Competitions(standard only):20,15,10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1
Every Stage (per competition, ie points awarded per stage in TDU standard as well as San Luis Purist, or seperatley for both Giro standard and Giro purist as comps now run independantly meaning more points on offer!):3,2,1....ties will be broken by GC position within that competition and then within the game.
All Standard selection criteria races will be included in the competetion, As for Purist races, not all purist races will automatically count, these will be identified as the season goes on (as I don't know what races will be run as what at the moment), and be added to the list below in this post, for example the TDU purist competition is not included, as the Tour de San luis runs alongside it, and this will be included.
All I will say is that in order to keep on top of Results etc and running the league efficiently, joining this will need to be done by Paris-Nice at the start of March.
In order to score points for a specific competition, your team must be present in the league for the deadline of the first stage of said race

WC: on it!
How are you scoring the Worlds TER?
As above, same as the classics, so big points on offer as men and women are separate

As it stands Aragonite will win overall anyway (with todays race and 2 others left to change it)
It's going to be very very close.
I think if it ended now there would be 1 point in it after yesterday as i moved up to 4th in AC
Yes, that is how I have it. Can't get any closer after almost a full season of road racing.
I need to write the update out, but don't have time at the moment
But I can tell you after the inclusion of Abu Dhabi it has ended in a tie at the top
You got 38 for autumn and 10 for abu dhabi
I got 21 for autumn and 6 for abu dhabi
I have me as 1 for Paris-Tours and 1 for Plouay as well.
Are you including scores from Mike? As he didnt join until after all the comps barring Abu Dhabi had started
Yup, its no worries, its not wasting my time, it good to know people are checking my maths
Nice job, TER!
.
Although.... ... did you do an update to suit?...
.
Aw, that was mean...
.
Just kidding!... I just couldn't resist... You're the man! You breathe life into this place and keep it going and make it interesting... And you're surprisingly and consistently fair, responsive, equitable and even-keeled...
Steves, don't you think you owe TER an apology?... You did come out at him pretty harshly the other day... People do have feeelings, you know?... Ah, you know I'm just trying to rile you up... In the end, we all love this place and we're nuts about cycling or we wouldn't be here...
Wow, and you both got the same amount of points today!
.

Surprised to read this. By my reckoning I nicked it by a couple of points.
Agree with my two scores, and your Abu Dhabi score. But I have you down for 19 for the Autumn Classics(15pts for finishing overall 2nd, and 2pts for the Vallenfall and 2pts for Il Lombardia - races 1+6). Could be wrong though as I don't have a complete list of entrants.
If that is Mike Franchetti? Then yes. And I apologise for wasting your time.
Thanks to everyone for the patience on the update
It's us who should be thanking you.
The last comp should be TdS?
Boom! I won a stage! I can take it easy for the rest of the season.
Nice one, TER.
I won a stage! a stage for real in more than three years I have never won a stage before. Happy happy happy.
