Peloton doesn't want to let anyone away yet. Got Moinard for the break (his training area and he said he would, for what that's worth) and Guarnini for the sprint. About 30k to the first col then something might happen.
Bloody Engoulvent dropping out, just put him in this morning
Westra or Valverde. either would suit - both in my selection, but then wont they be in everyone's?
and Christian Knees (SKY) has given up too now, falling like flies
My money's on Westra or Valverde. If they want the race win, they'll need a victory today. The won't beat Wiggo in the TT tomorrow.
I was hoping Di Gregorio would get in the break . All hopes with De Gendt and one or two of my domestiques now.
I havent made the switch - but was hovering over Rojas - odd to see Lars Bak give up for this stage.
Well Ive made a wee change today. Wiggins out for Tommy V
Sanchez out for De gendt.
5-7 degree climbs and a downhill finish, perfect for a breakaway, and Tommy's favourite steepness. But wish I could have put in Hushovd too.
