Well I've got
Alberto Contador (SAX)
Joaquin Rodriguez (KAT)
Ivan Basso (LIQ)
Fabio Duarte (COL)
Thibaut Pinot (FDJ)
Domenico Pozzovivo (COG)
Mauro Santambrogio (BMC)
John Darwin Atapuma (COL)
Miguel Angel Rubiano (AND)
the big ones still in there. Anyone watching at the moment,
crash with Tiralongo and Mollema? and Nibali
Well my team is fecked. I took Contador out lastnight. Kept Gilbert in.
I trusted the start list that was up last night and ended up with Rolland......Why didn't I not even see Europcar were not riding this one? and I picked a non riding cheap DS to fit the rest of my team
Pointless when the startlist is only updated on the morning of the race...............
Philippe Gilbert
Pierre Rolland
Joaquin Rodriguez
Giovanni Visconti
Mauro Santambrogio
Domenico Pozzovivo
Mikel Landa
Nathan Brown
Gorka Verdugo
Gilbert out! crashed.....
I jotted down another team on paper just to compare when the result came in - my other team is
Mikel Nieve
Vicenzo Nibali
Samuel Sanchez
Sergio Luis Henao
Thibaut Pinot
Gianni Meersman
Matteo Rabottini
Lars Petter Nordhaug
Moreno Moser.
The more i think about it the more i feel i should have entered this team
Couldn't decide between J-Rod and Nibs and plumped for J-Rod. My team is
Rui Alberto Faria Da Costa
Fabio Duarte
Sergio Luis Henao
Joaquin Rodriguez
Jose Rodolfo Serpa
Luca Paolini
Thibaut Pinot
Lars Petter Nordhaug
Francesco Gavazzi
Goddamn it missed window and valverde in my team
Yup me too, I' forgot to check yesterday and now I've only got a 3man team.... goodbye points.
Considered His Nibs but on the other hand I can see him riding a blinder only to get mugged on the line.
If it's by Gilbert(or indeed any of my other riders)then that would be a good result.
Have I misread how treacherous the final descent is?
No-one else seems to be going for the likes of Nibali or those other arch-descenders SammySanchez or Cunego?
This was the only race I won in 2011 and I'm hoping for a repeat this year.
Gilbert
Uran
Kessiakoff
Henao
Betancur
Ulissi
Pozzovivo
Verdugo
Kolobnev
Gilbert and Contador are my main foils. Contador says he is going for it and even if he dosen't win he'll not give up.
livestrongnick, I like the cut of your jib I had to squeeze out Pinot and Slagter but they are two riders I'd love to see doing well.
I've gone for
Gilbert
Contador
D Moreno
Henao
Nordhaug
Ulissi
M Moser
Pellizotti
Betancurt

Cheers
Had Pinot early on, then read Cycling news article which cemented his place.
Slagter was a late pick lastnight, wanted a rider who i've had before and know can do well!
I need a good result today, few people breathing down my neck in the leagues
Philippe Gilbert (BMC)
Sergio Luis Henao (SKY)
Giovanni Visconti (MOV)
Daniel Moreno (KAT)
Domenico Pozzovivo (COG)
Przemyslaw Niemiec (LAM)
Tom Jelte Slagter (RAB)
Thibaut Pinot (FDJ)
Carlos Alberto Betancurt (ASA)
Finish appears to be a daredevil descenders paradise and when that's the case I always look at Nibali....that plus decent form and racing in his own country meant he was number 1 on the team sheet.
Nibali
Gilbert
Pozzato
Henao
Santambrogio
Betancurt
Tiralongo
Pinot
Quintana
startlist is up now in the game
Folks. If you want a certain rider and he's not there. Choose the drop down called FILTER and set it to ALL RIDERS.
Then head to the FIND and put it the riders name.
If he's on the official start list and starts tomorrow. Don't worry about him being greyed out. You will score points if he does.
where are the OPQS riders? i have only one to choose from??????

Is the game start list correct at 163 riders? There's 200 plus on the official start list; http://www.gazzetta.it/Speciali/GiroLombardia/download/partenti_lombardi...
Some teams (on the game start list) only have 1 rider listed as starting.
Just incase anyone missed this and had picked him

Is Bradley riding?? He isn't on the team list on sky procycling.
This might do it Strath

Aye, that worked fine, thanks, not sure what was goin' on there.
Strangely I cannot seem to get up the Lombardy to pick the riders, it's not part of the premium races either. Maybe I am doing summit wrong.
Depends on which ranking you use.
UCI Ranking
WIGGINS Bradley 601
RODRIGUEZ OLIVER Joaquin 592
BOONEN Tom 410
IG Index
WIGGINS Bradley 4964
BOONEN Tom 4532
RODRIGUEZ OLIVER Joaquin 4311
CQ Ranking
RODRIGUEZ OLIVER Joaquin 2986
WIGGINS Bradley 2687
BOONEN Tom 2202
Personally, I prefer the way IG do their calculations and think its a truer reflection
Aye, until J-Rod came in 3rd in the Vuelta Wiggo was a long way in front but its down to a few points now so it might be interesting.
My gut feeling says that Wiggo couldn't care less about the standings and will not be competitive in Lombardia. Friends tell me he was already sporting a beer belly at the worlds. He's done for this season.
Ooh, I did not realise wiggo had something to ride for...might change my picks...sky might ride from tghe front and try tobreak them all.... tdf style. Porte to speed up the hill, henao to take over, uran to sprint to 500m and wiggins to take tghe win. So ill pick jrod
