Giro game - pick three Italians

The snow will just melt at the heat coming off Salerno's tyres as he speeds up the mountains. Everyone else behind will drown in the resultant flood, and chrisdstripes wins the comp!

What'll it be for the Tour? Three Frenchmen or three of the same nationality? I'm not sure I can name 3 Frenchmen... 39 Chavanel... Voeckler and Rolland?... Oh! 1 Ok! 1

Yes,probably three Frenchmen as its their home tour plus the credit limit forces you to probably only pick one of the main guys (Voeckler, Rolland, Bouhanni) and try some of the cheaper riders.

Three Frenchmen should also be more varied because you don't have such an obvious high scorer as Nibali was for the Giro.

I assume its a function of you having Giacampo Caruso. I threw all the info into a spreadsheet and its quite possible that your most recent score includes Damiano Caruso by accident.

I did it at work so don't have the spreadsheet to hand but I'll check it and update scores in the morning.

Good Luck getting that little lot for under 50credits enrique.......perhaps you could start a thread asking for standard players to be allowed 120 credits in such a game?

Ther will also be Bouhanni,Pinot,Elissonde,Jeannesson etc..

Thanks. Pure luck of course but a nice little game I was glad of after a poor first week took me out of contention for anything else. Worth having for the Grand Tours I think and the TdF will be particularly tough to call.

I wonder what Santa Dave will find for me! (Not a pump please!)

Don't worry about it, just saw it and wondered is all, don't go too far out of your way just to satisfy my desire to not quite be last.
