It is all a bit of a mess. I went with three second level sprinters who can time-trial (Walscheid, Laporte & Teunissen) as a three stage strategy and missed out on Philipsen as a consequence. Not sure how that leaves me now. Dithered between Van Poppel or Groves with final 14 million but felt that Groves was more consistent...... can't legislate for crashes & Covid!!,
Walscheid was a good pick....he looked strong in the world championship TT. I had him in my first drafts for a long time, definitely had a chance of top ten in the TT.
Okay, I'm back in now.
The game might say 'combativity', but that's for the super 8 sprints, which are being scored as normal intermediates. The golden kilometer is impossible to score and there is no combativity.
Oh, and I will say I have the super 8 sprints scored correctly, but I think they borked the scores for today. The sprints are scored 10-8-6-4-2 in the official rules, but sprint one today popped up as 12-10-6-4-2. So I'm not sure what's going on. Maybe there's a bonus somewhere that I don't know about because the rules are only in Flemish and French.
If I remember right this race is a nightmare to score every year.
Correct, I think I've got it down. Just maths needs to happen if they don't tweet out the sprint results.
