Tour de France

Yeah, finally a GT.

Looking forward to this. Lots of unknowns with form and injuries for those riding and many fallen by the wayside before a wheel is turned.

Buchmann and Schachmann both named officially as starting despite their injuries...nice....or is that Nice.

I'm just not that excited about this years race.

Maybe after a few stages it might start getting me.

Is it the time of year, which seems to be an early autumn, rather than the glories of the Month of July.

Or is it because of the weirdness of the biggest cycle race in the middle of a global pandemic, and the chances of not finishing it, properly at least?

It's not going to be normal anyway.

So unpredictable. On the one hand, GC guys won't want to be far from the action in case it all gets cancelled. On the other - so will everyone else. If you're stage hunting... you'll not wait for week 3.

Buchmann looks terrible. Not sure how h'es even starting tbh.

I think I'm ready. Not sure how to set up standard for the first few stages. Stage 2 is especially weird. Sprinter heavy with a few punchy GC men thrown in perhaps.

Where have you seen him?

Stage two is really an odd one now. With Roglic and Bernal (Buchmann) all being a bit tender we may well not see any push from the main two teams....I certainly can't see them wanting the yellow jersey at that point.

Peirre Rolland and Maxime Chevalier first and second.
