One23 and Vangard Schwag: we have a winner!

Super bright lights for your bike and a toasty top for you...

Well tiffin has been taken (Tony was a bit cross actually cause the tiffin was taken by the time he arrived...) and the fickle finger of fate has pressed the button on the random number generator. And do you know what? You've won...

texas ted!

Yup, Ted gets the lights and top to help out his winter training around the frozen lanes of Salisbury. Congrats to him, and commiserations to everyone else who entered, over 650 of you.

There'll be more schwag along tomorrow in the form of some tidy indoor training gear. So get your commenting fingers at the ready...

-------------------------------

Winter may be closing in but never fear: road.cc's Schwag Grab is here to lighten the gloom and beat the chill. Courtesy of our good friends at Todayscyclist.co.uk we've got a a set of One23 Extreme Bright 3W Li-Ion lights backed up with a One 23 Super bright rear LED ensuring that you and your bike will be lit up like a Christmas tree this winter AND that's not all: you'll be toasty warm too, courtesy of a Vangard Windflex Rollneck in the size of your choice.

Powered by light weight and powerful Li-Ion batteries the Extreme Bright 3 High performance light boasts three lighting modes, a run time indicator, and can be handlebar or helmet mounted. Oh, and mounting is tool free. Normally it would set you back £109.99. We recently reviewed its baby brother – the NiMh powered One23 Extreme Bright 1 – and we were well impressed with the amount of punch it packed for the price… this one is brighter and lighter still.

The One23 Super Bright LED is a nifty bit of kit too, featuring a red or white ½ watt LED backed up by two further LEDs. Run time is a claimed 100 hours and One23 reckon it's visible from 1000m. So quite visible then. It's worth £14.99.

More cleverness is on show in the Vangard Windflex Zipneck top which has a windproof Windflex panel at the front and on the shoulders to keep icy blasts at bay teamed with polyester microfiber panels under the arms and on the back to help wick sweat and dissipate heat – we'll be testing one soon. In the meantime they're available in the shops for £79.99 or, if you win our schwag grab, for free.

Usual schwag grab format for this one, just comment below and you're in the grab – we'll be drawing the lucky winner next Thursday when the big hand is pointing to tiffin and the little hand is putting the kettle on.

Good luck!

I'd like some small front lights to compliment my Bush & Muller.

The bak light would be good for the helmet

Yes please, even though I do not need the Vangard Windflex Zipneck unti May. Extra lights are always handy for me the regular commuter.

I would prefer some snow tyres and extra padding in the current climate but beggars can't be choosers.
