The Pearl Izumi Tour Ride Jersey is the latest Tour Ride sportive from SweetSpot, the organisers of The Tour of Britain and Pearl Izumi Tour Series.
Established in 2009 The Tour Rides give amateur cyclists the chance to experience a Tour of Britain style ride, complete with the full Tour finale along the the finish straight and underneath the finish gantry.
This year sees the first Tour Ride to be held on Jersey, as a part of the Jersey Festival of Cycling over the weekend of 13-15 June 2014. Including the final round of The Pearl Izumi Tour Series town & city centre races (Friday) and The Pearl Izumi Jersey International Road Race (Sunday), The Pearl Izumi Tour Ride Jersey will be a large scale sportive, aiming to attract over 500 riders from the Channel Islands, UK and the Continent.
Starting and finishing from the picturesque village of Gorey, riders can tackle 50 and 100-kilometre routes, which will be fully supported by feed stations and neutral service from Tour partners.
