Polocini Macchaito 27/4/2014
Now in it’s second year The Macchiato has a 57 mile route that heads out into the Peak District via Snake Pass and then through Edale and over Mam Nick. The route flows nicely and is very well balanced.
We don't throw daft hills into our rides or long boring roads to aim for a set mileage.
As always with a POLOCINI ride included in the £15 entry fee is a pre ride porridge pot, a basic water/feed station at the half way point and post ride food at the finish plus a tea/coffee and HARIBO!
So far this year our rides have had Lamb Biryani, Steak Pies and Beef Noodles as post ride food. If it's a sunny day we plan a BBQ!
We have plenty of seating and bike racks at the HQ and we will be screening Liege-Bastogne-Liege. So you can ride bikes, chat bikes and watch bikes. HAPPY DAYS.
