The Wiggle Ups and Downs Sportive is quite a challenge with awesome hills to get the legs pumping and amazing descents to get the heart racing. Taking in the best of the varied landscape of Surrey Hills and North Downs, all three courses are based in the heart of this area of outstanding natural beauty.
Although this area is known for its hills everything is rideable if you have a reasonable level of fitness. A great early season tester on very quiet roads within a stunning area! In 2012 the Olympic road race pasted through this area so you can ride some of the same roads as the pro's. Three different ride lengths (102miles, 79miles and 35miles) allows you to pick your challenge for a great day out. This area of outstanding natural beauty is in touching distance of London and the Start/Finish is next door to a mainline station. - See more at: http://www.ukcyclingevents.co.uk/events/wiggle-ups-and-downs-sportive/#s...
Enjoyed the humour in your write up. Stunning paint job too. Loved the glasses will provide" "a better view in the peloton." Cheers!
Glad to see the BBC is still doing a bang-up job of alienating left and right in equal measure. Keep up the good work, Auntie.
I don't think that entirely fair. A whole new range of gearing options and an entirely new model that shares virtually nothing with the others....
I didn't realise X / Twitter still had 37 users!
You seem very sensitive about being ridiculed, but very happy to ridicule the article in far more damning terms. And yes, you're asking for too...
You put a (not really a) hashtag on it - that automatically qualifies it as a rant.
It's not the casual health effects I'd be worried about - more the ones with a long-term commitment.
In what?
Turns out they prefer video evidence to prove beyond doubt a car is parked on zig zag lines; a still won't do...
Mix of good and not so there. Overtaking stuff all sounds sensible (if people remember...), not sure on the compulsory PPE....
