Now in its sixth year, the Greater Haywards Heath Bike Ride is set for Sunday 10th April and the organisers are hoping the sunshine will return, together with riders old and new, to enjoy another wonderful day in the saddle.
The 2016 Bike Ride will, again, have four routes – from the family friendly 12 mile to the ‘Wiggins Way’ at 74 miles for cyclists wanting a challenge! All riders will be ‘chipped’ once more so everyone will know just how well they did and the routes have been amended to ensure there are proper facilities (including ‘comfort breaks’) en route and Feed Stations for the longer ride. There’ll also be a warm welcome home to tired riders in The Broadway with live music.
But, as Chairman, Mike Oliver, says: “Our Bike Ride is a day for families too; this year, with the help of our sponsors, we’re raising money for the Maternity Unit at the PRH so we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of riders to what we hope will be a fantastic day of fun in the April sunshine!”
And if you register now at www.hhbikeride.co.uk, you’ll get a special Early Bird Discount. So please come along and join us for a very special day; make the 2016 Bike Ride the very best and biggest ever.
If you have friends or partners that don't ride but would like to be part of the fun, do get in touch as a volunteer/marshal. Call Ruth on 01444 453399 (ruth [at] i-dmc.co.uk).
