BW Bristol Belter Road Sportive powered by Merida Bikes
Event info
The Bristol Belter will take place on the 4th September 2016 and will be the ideal event to celebrate the end of the summer and to bring another great season of sportive riding to a fantastic finish. After a long summer of training rides and sportive events the riders will be in perfect shape to tackle one of the three courses on offer.
The Bristol Belter offers once again a twist on Sportive riding. Those who want to ride the classic 100 miles will first conquer a ‘warm up’ loop up towards the lower end of the Cotswold hills before heading south west, riding in the Mendips and lake region to complete the full distance.
The idea is the first 35 miles is an all new Cotswold loop taking in some glorious Gloucestershire country side including Castle Coombe village then heads back to The Fry Club in Keynsham were refreshments await, then those riders wanting to join friends for the traditional Mendip 65 miles can hook up and ride out together for some of the best riding Somerset has to offer.
Mini Belter: approx. 70km (44miles), 1,100 of climbing and 3 feed stations (including the finish line feed station) – details
Short Belter: approx. 100km (63miles), 1,650 of climbing and 3 feed stations (including the finish line feed station) – details
Full Belter: approx. 160km (100miles), 2,450 of climbing and 4 feed stations (including the finish line feed station) – The Full Belter is divided into two loops – a Cotswold and a Mendip loop – details
Entry is easy by simply going to the entry page. There you can choose between the good old downloadable entry form or fast and simple online entry.
The entry fee is £29 / £24 (for the Mini Belter) and includes:
