Long One: 122miles
Epic Route: 980miles
Standard Route: 65miles
Short Route: 27miles
The Wiggle Sussex Gran Fondo will show you the best of what West Sussex and Hampshire have to offer – and then both the North and South Downs - yep, the 125-mile route really is a long one. Nine major climbs and five other significant ascents will come before you as this mega-mile epic unfolds, giving this the potential to be your crowning glory of the season’s riding success.
Starting just outside of Chichester, the route passes Cocking, flirts with Midhurst and almost kisses Liphook, skirting under Petersfield before heading north.
A High Cross feed stop signifies the highest north this will take you, before looping back. Small villages such as Kilmeston, Warnford and Brockbridge will soon blur into one as you count down the miles until the finish line. Crossing over the top of Portsmouth, then Chichester, it’s smooth sailing back to base camp. After a mega day of riding, you’ll need those last few miles to be as straightforward as possible!
