TOUR OF WORCESTER 2019
Sunday October 27th 2019 - 70M | 50M
Start/Finish: Worcester racecourse
Welcome to the 11th edition of the Tour of Worcester, a great autumn finish to your sportive season.
Last year saw the first major route change from the original ride that followed the old Tour of Britain stage due to the clock changes over the weekend.
The new routes proved a great success, so we have retained these with some small changes to add the Gallop ride.
We will again use Martley for our feed stop at 33miles for both routes, offering our usual energy products from Clifbar and some savouries, and have toilets for all.
The famous "Killer climb" is taken from the south and is the easy side, there is an option around if required. This is followed by the drop in and out of the ford crossing a popular addition to the ride.
This year we will again name all the climbs as in previous years to account for the over 1500m of climbing.
Both rides cater for all abilities and we will have a Medi bike and broom wagon to keep everyone safe.
On your return you will receive a medal and a snack to top up the energy levels and our coffee outlet to serve the real thing.
We will have downloadable certificates when the times are published.
We look forward to seeing many of the old faces along with the young to help us celebrate out 10th edition of the Tour of Worcester.
