RIDE IT is a series of non-competitive cycle events taking place across the country and aimed at riders of all abilities. At every ride you’ll find a choice of fully waymarked routes, well stocked feed stations sponsored by High 5 Sports Nutrition, mechanical and sweeper van support if things go wrong, electronic chip timing to record your ride and a finishers medal waiting for you at the end.
We're back again, teaming up with Medway Council and the Medway Big Ride Cycling Festival for another fantastic summer RIDE IT event. As well as some great sportive routes to choose from, there are plenty of other cycling related activities taking place over the weekend.
The sportive routes start from Medway Park and take riders on a tour of the Kent countryside heading east towards Faversham then south into the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's a mixture of rolling terrain interspersed with short sharp climbs and a few longer and more challenging climbs to test riders on the longer route.
