Police do some good

Regular reader, first time posting.

Just wanted to share the police taking some (limited) action as they seem to rarely do & hopefully give some hope to others.
I was hit by a car turning right (lights on, day light... ) about a month ago. Luckily I came off really well, even though I was on the bonnet - just a few scrapes and a readjustment of mudguards. Filed a report with the police more in principle but also just in case anything needed to be claimed as I seized up the following day. A week or so later received a letter that they were investigating, and just received a letter a couple of weeks on that the driver has to attend mandatory online training and a reoffence within 3 years will likely result in a prosecution.

Considering most seem to hear nothing, I only had a witness statement and no video, and I didn't have major injury, I was kind of impressed.

Keep going & stay safe

London Met police - do you know if they tend to be better or worse?

Posters say they do well; a lot better than Lancashire or Cambridgeshire.
