Lusso Pro Gel. Can't fault 'em. They don't break the bank and they're made in good old Blighty.
Stolen Goat Bodyline One. Spot on fit and comfy for mile after mile.
Howies Bibshorts:

mainly seamless construction. Lovely "classic" matt black finish, no bright colours. Subtle, comfortable, good value. What's not to like?
Morvelo Classic bibs, regularly choose these over my Assos and Castelli bibs
Chinese fake (presumably) Pearl Izumi for about a tenner.
Pactimo Summit Raptor - wish I could afford more pairs.

Altura Progel - I have the regular bibs and the bib-knickers, both excellent value. Strangely not much padding which worried me when I got them but they just work. Amazing all-day comfort.

Santini Smarter (SP1072NATSMAR)
Great cut, great fabric, fantastic pad, reasonable price
I've got 8 pairs of Santini bib shorts (6 different models and 2 the same), and these are my favourites yet, I will buying more..

Pearl Izumi Elite InRCool bibs are fantastic for me, nice quality lycra, good fit, sticky leg grips (no elastic), comfortable padding - for the long rides. You can usually get them for £70.

I'm a big fan of the Louis Garneau Neo Power Bibs (this appears to be the latest model, I've had mine a few years and these are a bit cheaper and look a bit different http://www.evanscycles.com/products/louis-garneau/neo-power-motion-bib-s...). I really like the compression-effect the material has, its a nice mix of lycra and some other stretchy material, they're a tad longer than most shorts (not as long as Nanoflex bibs, maybe an inch less. I find other Castelli bibs too short in the leg, eg the Velocissimo - I'm only 5'6" so don't go thinking I'm a leggy one!), and the gripper is incredibly comfortable - its really a 3-inch wide panel so no irritation on the legs. They're not too warm on hot days or cold in autumn/spring, maybe a tad too thin for deep winter when leg warmers may be needed. I've got the Nanoflex for then!
Rapha Classic Bib Shorts for me. Classy as hell, with the matt finish being a little less showy than the Pro Team shorts. Pad is epic - I did 5 hours on Sunday having never done more than 2 before and the one part of me that didn't hurt was my backside. Expensive, but you truly do get what you pay for.

Just got the new Chapeau Classic Bibs and they are great.

DHB Aeron shorts (not bib) Veloce
Is this going to work? People have to look through all of the comments to see if their favourite is mentioned. There are already over 50 comments.
I'm a big fan of the Lusso Pro Gel, the only one where the pad hasn't gone flat after 5 years and hasn't started to fall to bits like other makes. I have had Castelli and similar and their Lycra doesn't hold together like the Lusso ones and its great to buy a brand make in Britain
Decathlon 700 series stuff. My derrière prefers them to Assos, Pearl Izumi and various others. Under £50 too and come in a couple of different designs. Really, you should try them, they really are brilliant.

Sportful is great - basically Castelli but not Castelli prices, as they are "sister" companies.
Rapha classic bib shorts for me, unbelievably comfortable, look smart and the current pair I have still looks pretty much new after 3 years riding. Many great contenders, but these to me stand out above the rest I've worn.
Wiggle-branded dhb shorts. Higher spec than the basic dhb shorts but cheaper as a quid pro quo for having "Wiggle" on your leg. Six years old and still going strong.
Not available now, so no link.
Bioracer! http://www.bioracer.co.uk/en/team-clothing/1476/race-proven-lycra-short Ridden in their Team kit five years; extremely comfortable in all conditions
Howies 'Men's Bib Sh34rts' for me - pad is awesome and the back and bib feels luxurious.
I have the lusso Layla bibshorts
Morvelo, the most comfortable bib shorts I own.

Love the Primal EVO Bibs!
I commute in these everyday and the chamois is excellent!!

Bontrager RXXXL bib shorts. The best pad bar none.
Love Primals Range! Evo/Helix bibs all the way for the win!!! http://www.primaleurope.com/custom. The Exion Helix Kit is my favourite... So flattering and pretty I look like a cycling Queen.
Endura FS260-Pro Bibshort II

Tesco jeans.
I recently got hold on the RedWhite bib (www.redwhite.cc). It is a long distance bib with a very good and supporting chamois for long ride (100+ miles).
Really love them in the long ride
I've been in Primal's Evo bibs with E6 carbon chamois and they get a massive thumbs up from me, previous bibs have had irritating stitching and uncomfortable chamois but these are spot on!
