dhb updates ASV clothing lineup for autumn/winter

Range includes dhb’s first pro-level winter kit for women

dhb has updated its top-tier ASV clothing lineup for winter, the range now including upgraded materials and revised fitting on the men’s side, and what dhb calls its first professional level off-season kit for women.

We first told you about dhb’s ASV clothing when it was initially launched last September. It’s a range that’s developed with the Wiggle Honda pro cycling team.

“This is kit to keep elite level riders and racers on the road all year round, regardless of weather conditions,” says dhb.

Here are the highlights. Each item here is available in men’s and women’s versions, and in various colours.

ASV Roubaix Long Sleeve Jersey £70

This multi-panel jersey is made from an Italian roubaix fabric with a windproof membrane. You get a tall collar with internal fleece lining, and elasticated arm openings. It features three vertical drop pockets and a zipped pocket at the rear along with reflective logos.

ASV Thermal Gilet £55

The gilet is made from a roubaix brushed fleece fabric for insulation, with a full-length YKK zip for when you need some ventilation.

ASV Roubaix Bib Tights £80

These are made from a four-way stretch Italian Lycra Sport fabric and feature a CyTech Endurance HD seat pad. That pad is a dual foam construction and it’s ventilated.

ASV eVent Waterproof Jacket £100

The jacket is designed to be lightweight and aerodynamic and the eVent Direct Venting Technology is intended to provide enough breathability to keep you dry when you’re riding hard. It packs down small enough to fit into a jersey pocket when not in use.

Yes, wiggle would sell loads if they did a keenly priced ASV gabba equivalent, that could match its performance.

The Asv lineup really needs a Gabba style jersey.

The majority of what you read in print or online is written by PR companies. Real journalism in the UK is a dying art. See Flat Earth News by Nick Davies if you want to properly depress yourself...
