Strava has created a neat little animation to show its members their individual year in cycling and/or running.
The Big Adventure is a personalised animated video with a small avatar riding over mountains and through countryside to summarise the number of miles each of its users has ridden/ran as well as meters ascended and QOM/KOMs achieved, and their top ride/run buddies.
The global Strava addiction shows no sign of abating - in total Strava users have cycled more than four billion km, accumulating 464,825,508 kudos from other members, and run more than 43 million km.
Simon Klima, UK Country Manager at Strava, said: “The Big Adventure is our way of saying thanks to our community and celebrating what has been a phenomenal year for Strava. Every kilometre, every kudos and every upload counts, and we hope Strava members will enjoy sharing their videos.”
