Video: Is this the hardest road bike climb ever?
Is this the hardest climb ever done on a road bike?
Italian trials ace Vittorio Brumotti is at the Tour de San Luis in Argentina, and first rode then hopped up the steep side of the tallest of the three blocks that make up the local government's Terrazas del Portezuelo complex.
His exploit was captured on video and posted to the race's YouTube page.
To give you an idea of just how steep that is, we think it's the building on the left in this picture.

Tinkoff, which sponsors Brumotti - hence the kit - posted another video yesterday of his escapades in Argentina.
Vittorio Brumotti goes crazy in San LuisOur squad, led by Peter Sagan and Rafał Majka, isn't the only one training ahead of Monday's start of Tour de San Luis. Abbombazza 100% Brumotti joined the riders in San Luis, for what turned out to be, undoubtedly, a less conventional training ride!

he was so far over the back wheel I think he had an extra rim brake!
Quite. the rim brake hasn't had it's day just yet! ...and look he can modulate and everything!
clearly it is the building going down to the water as you can see from the first picture for the story. Still a vote for rim brakes.
I think it is the one closest to the camera in that picture, not the one on the left, because right at the end of the video as he comes down onto the flat section, you can see the water. The one in that picture is the only one that decends into water.
