The guys behind the Wiggle Super Series of sportive rides - UK Cycling Events - are launching a loyalty card which they believe is the first of its kind.
Sponsored by Wiggle & High5, the card is intended to be a thank-you to the regular riders of the Wiggle Super Series and there are some cracking gifts for serial participants.
These include DHB riding glasses, High5 Race Faster Packs and free entry to Wiggle Super Series Events.
The popular Wiggle Super Series has 13 sportive and mountain bike events taking place in lovely locations across the South. The loyalty card is one of the ways that the organisers are hoping to make their events stand out.
Martin Barden of UK Cycling Events said: “We are thrilled to be launching our loyalty card. At the 5 events we have done so far this year we are starting to see some regular riders so it seemed like the obvious thing to do. We wanted to say thank-you for their support and we hope this will further enhance their experience of our events”
The Wiggle Super Series event videos by Ross Chapman have something of a cult following amongst riders. The first 5 event videos have already been watched by over 6,000 riders; below you can see the latest one from the Bournemouth Sportive.
The loyalty card will be first available at the next Wiggle Super Series event, the Sussex Surrey Scramble on the 30th May, starting in Pulborough, West Sussex.
Here, we've already had a great early Saturday morning ride and the only thing that would have been better is if the legs complained less.
