Were you pink this #mycyclingweekend? Has the surprise dose of sunshine left you dangerously pink following a #mycyclingweekend in short sleeves? Let road.cc and Cycle Surgery soothe those burns with a prize and some stunning photos from a stunning weekend.
We asked you to send us photos of your pink this #mycyclingweekend.
We were quite clear that that wasn't a euphemism, and thankfully you all listened - we didn't receive any untoward photographs on our social media streams.
We did however see some fancy gentlemen in fancy pink jerseys, some hardcore rides aboard pink bikes, some beautiful pink scenery, and a lot of nods to the opening of the first Grand Tour of the year!
First, let's get the prize giving out of the way.
Where a number of men went for an understated pair of pink cycling socks or pink bottles, this week's winner went all out - a pink jersey, pink-trimmed shorts, and ice cream.
It was a combination we couldn't resist.
So, Mike Wheeler, you're this week's #mycyclingweekend winner. We hope you suncreamed up this weekend or else we imagine your legs, arms, and head'll be the same colour as that jersey of yours!
Mr. Wheeler was far from the only #mycycylingweekend participant wearing pink this weekend. Here are a few of our other favourites, and close runners up to our ice cream-wielding winner.
This kids got in on the fun too! We love the outfits, and the bikes. Especially Mathias Disney's daughter's matching helmet, crocks and socks!
It wasn't just the kids who were climbing into pink outfits either!
We've already heralded Mr. Wheeler for his fabulously pink jersey, but loads of you headed out into the sun in equally stunning pink.
We love the jerseys guys, you're even leading us to consider - incredibly tentatively - what a road.cc jersey in pink would look like. What do you think?
Your pink explorations weren't confined to what was on the bike. Jack Thorpe and Shannon Laffey found some pink beauty in their surroundings. Nice shots guys!
Of course, it wasn't sunny everywhere this #mycyclingweekend. Special mention this week goes to Instagram user @carlogironi who spent his #mycyclingweekend traversing rather treacherous looking patches of ice on Italian Alpine pass, Passo San Marco.
Remember, it's never too late to get involved in the #mycyclingweekend fun. Just fire your photos over to us via the #mycyclingweekend hashtag on Twitter and Instagram to join in!
Happy riding!

Wouldn't generalisations about generations be, I don't know, "generationalisations"?
No chance of that ever being a human being.

Usual ugly Pinarello, bumps and curves where they aren't needed. And, according to Mapdec, not well built.
