Is Wiggins asthmatic as he was puffing on an inhaler before the race?
At British Cycling you are issued your inhaler prescription when you pick up your kit.
'Asthma' is pretty much a pre-req to be an athlete these days
Ha ha! Turns out that he does suffer from asthma.
Got nervous when it got to 0.666s!
That was some tense stuff. Congratulations to all involved.
I'm not a Wiggins fan as such but he's pretty much legendary now. 16 years at the top of the game.
Get it right, Wiggins did not swing off in the final, he led them across the line.
Fantastic effort and a great win.
Congrats to team GB. Great race and it was defintily very exciting to watch.
