Winter's coming! Well, autumn's coming first, so you've got plenty of time to get ready for the really miserable weather. Fortunately, here at road.cc we're teaming up with Tweeks Cycles to make that a bit easier for you.
Today's DealCatcher features two bikes and a load of goodies that should help you through the grimmer months in comfort and style.
Not only do we have bargain sets of lights from Cateye, we've got excellently road.cc rated mudguards from SKS and fantastic cleaning products from Muc-Off.
Enjoy!
We reviewed GT's 2016 Grade earlier this year and it received an excellent 8/10 review from our man David Arthur, the bike also featured in our Buyer's Guide to gravel and adventure bikes; so you can rest easily knowing that should you jump at this offer, you're getting a great bike.
While the review model Mr Arthur took for a spin ran Shimano's Ultegra, the model you can buy today from Tweeks uses Shimano's cheaper, but unbelievably capable 105 groupset.
The GT Grade is a gravel/adventure bike so it's capable of running slightly wider and more comfortable 28mm tyres, it also utilises disc brakes and slacker frame angles keep things comfortable.
Following its update last year the Genesis Zero series has seen even more improvements this year.
While the Z.1 is on the cheaper end of the Z spectrum, it by no means missed out on the updates. The Shimano's 105 groupset mean's it's certainly no slouch.
The 30% discount at Tweeks make this bike well worth a look if you're in the market for a bargain racer.
SKS call its Raceblade mudguards "ideal for touring, commuting and cross bikes." Our man Mike Stead appears to agree with them.
His review of the Raceblade Pros was exceptionally positive. He particularly highlighted how quick and simple it is to attach and adjust the mudguards, along with their fantastic range of protection.
In case you didn't notice, autumn's on its way. That means the evenings are going to get darker earlier and the weather's going to get worse; probably much worse.
You'll be needing lights. Lights don't come much better - at least in terms of their value - than Cateye's Volt 200/Rabid X light set.
We reviewed the pair back in February las year. Our man David Arthur gave the lights a stunning 9/10. Check it out here:
As we just mentioned, autumn is coming. The weather's going to get bad, and even if you invest in a pair of quality mudguards, your bike's going to get dirty.
Which is why we're pointing you in the direction of the following two deals.
First Muc-Off's bike cleaner. Don't be fooled by the motorcycle livery on the bottles over at Tweeks - these are the real deal. Muc-Off just sell the same formula to motorcyclists, it's perfectly safe to put on your bike.
The final product in today's DealCatcher is this incredibly efficient contraption from Muc-off that will help you keep your chain nice and clean this winter with minimal mess and hassle.
Muc-Off make great chain cleaners, we should know, we reviewed the brand's X-3 chain machine, and gave it an excellent 8/10.
