If rumours are to be believed, the poorly mocked-up image above could be a reality in 2017 as Laura Trott and Jason Kenny look set to receive a knighthood and a damehood in the New Year.
An unnamed source told the Mirror that Britain's golden couple should expect to be given "something big" in the New Year.
While Trott has fielded questions about the possibility of children in the foreseeable future, this "something big" appears to refer to honours for the Olympians.
Given that both of the champion cyclists already have OBEs, the source clarifies that "Jason is likely to be given a knighthood and Laura will probably be made a dame."
The source went on to add further fuel to the fire claiming that the pair "are very much the poster couple of this year's honours.
“The whole thing is going to be dominated by sports stars but Laura and Jason are the standouts.
“They were incredibly successful in Rio and this is the right way to honour them.”
The source concluded that a majority of the Paralympic and Olympic squads that competed in Rio will receive honours.

The knighthood and damehood for the Kennys would make sense considering that they both now stand alone as the most successful British Olympic cyclists.
Jason Kenny now has six Olympic golds, which puts him on a par with the already-knighted Sir Chris Hoy and ahead of Sir Bradley Wiggins. Meanwhile Trott has four golds, more than any other female British athlete.
Honours in the New Year will top off an incredibly successful 12 months for the pair which has seen them carry a golden five medal haul away from the Rio Olympics, get married, join-publish a book, and now potentially earn a knighthood and damehood.
