Before we talk about all the fun we're going to have this #mycyclingweekend, a word of warning: go carefully. It's going to be treacherously slippery, frozen in places, and some of you might even have some snow to deal with. Neither us, nor Cycle Surgery, want to see any of you sending in photos of ice-related injuries.
Seriously, all we want are more photos of your fantastic cycling adventures.
The normal rules apply, if you want a chance of winning a Cycle Surgery approved prize fire a photo at us via Instagram or Twitter - don't forget your hashtags (both the #mycyclingweekend one and the #CycleSurgery one).
It's going to be a chilly. There's not denying that. If the forecasts are to be believed it could be snowy in places, icy in others, with a smattering of rain here and there too, so wrapping up warm looks like it's going to be a must.
Being aware of the road conditions is also pretty important, as are your choices of tyre.
Our own Vecchio Jo didn't have any frost to deal with last #mycyclingweekend when he posted this photo, but his bike handled the mud alright.
We imagine last week's winner Pieter Van den Eynde will be using tyres with a little more tread than those used by us lot over in Belgium, though. The conditions appear to get considerably worse the further east you go.
However you prepare, and whatever kit you decide to wear, there's not a lot you can do about muck. Sure, Instagram user zer0sandones's riding partner could have prevented some of the spray with a set of mudguards, but Rauri Hadlington's bike cleaning duties probably couldn't have been avoided.
Whatever the weather, just get out there and share your riding shots with us! There's a prize courtesy of Cycle Surgery in it for you!
Remember, all you have to do to enter is upload a photo to Instagram or Twitter with the #mycyclingweekend and #CycleSurgery hashtags in the description.
Safe riding!

Problem is when taking your gloves off to operate your phone means freezing fingers for the next five minutes...
