Honoured to have been there. Great feeling of mutual support and strength. The turnout was exceptional - this tragedy has deeply affected many cyclists across the North. North Down CC, their committee, club members, and friends have been terrific - very dignified, measured, and open. Having a granstand view of the family and friends in the church was truly heartbreaking, but they were so strong. RIP
What a fantastic sight.
And good to see that even in these awful circumstances, a grupetto formed off the back...I'm sure Gavin would be proud!
Very sad but what a great tribute.
