Strava data for three of the sectors in Sunday’s cobbled Tour de France stage to Roubaix

How far and who’s been quickest?

There are fifteen cobbled sectors scattered along Sunday’s Tour de France stage to Roubaix. Here’s the Strava data for three of them, including the crucial Camphin-en-Pévèle sector which comes in the closing kilometres.

Professional cyclists have the KOMs for two of these segments, Auchy-lez-Orchies à Bersée and Camphin-en-Pévèle, via Oliver Naesen and Tejay Van Garderen. Pont-Thibaut à Ennevelin is held by Antoine Loy, a Belgian who rides for the heavily-hyphenated EFC–L&R–Vulsteke under-23 team.

Both Naesen and Van Garderen are riding the Tour – although we daresay they’ll have bigger concerns than attempting to retain their KOMs. (The latter is currently third overall.)

Sunday’s stage is 156.5km long. Auchy-lez-Orchies à Bersée comes after 104.5km; Pont-Thibaut à Ennevelin comes after 119.5km; and Camphin-en-Pévèle after 143km.
