Fantasy Cycling: no points today

Stage to be neutralised after tragic death of Wouter Weylandt

Following the tragic death of Wouter Weylandt in yesterday's stage of the Giro d'Italia, the riders will in all likelihood be neutralising today's stage as a mark of respect. Our thoughts go out to Wouter's family, friends and teammates at this sad time. Given yesterday's tragic event we also realise that many of you will not feel it approriate for the game to continue as normal at a time like this. No points will be awarded today.

Very classy guys. You did the right thing. I did not do any transfers out of respect (for however little that's worth).

Agreed. I did my transfers earlier, but it felt very wrong to be thinking about who would be allowed to cross the line first. Absolutely the right decision.

Right Decision. Out of respect if nothing else.

Well done guys, good decision. It wouldn't be right to carry on as normal today, particularly in something (with the best will in the world) so trivial as a fantasy cycling game.
