Win tickets to Cycle 2008

The Association of Cycle Traders – the people who promote local bike shops – is giving away 6 pairs of tickets to this year’s Cycle show at London’s Earls Court. Tickets usually cost £14 but all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning a pair is send an email explaining in less than 50 words why you should win tickets.  The funniest and most original emails will win. The Cycle show runs from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th October and is a great place to check out the latest bikes and accessories, plus see top names from the world of cycling as well as test ride loads of new bikes on the commuter and MTB tracks. The Association of Cycle Traders will be running a daily competition to award the title of “Fastest Wrench In The West”. Compete against the clock in a test of bike maintenance skills and win a tool kit worth £99. Record the overall fastest time and you also win a voucher worth £100 to spend in a bike shop of your choice, and of course the glory of being crowned “Fastest Wrench”. All times will be recorded and displayed during the event as well as online after the show so you can check your progress. The ACT stand will also offer tech demo’s on wheel-building and other aspects of bike maintenance, plus information on Cytech maintenance training courses and cycle industry careers.
