Video: Campagnolo's Super Record EPS groupset in detail

EPS head honcho Flavio Cracco talks us round the new electronic system

While we were out in Vicenza having a go on the new EPS groupset we also had the opportunity to talk to Flavio Cracco, the engineer who's been at the helm of the project. And we got him to show us round the nuts and bolts of the electronic drivetrain. So if you want to know which bit does what, this is the vid to watch - if anyone should know, it's him...

As well as giving us an overview of the way the EPS gears work, Flavio also showed us the process for setting up the gears and how to adjust them mid-ride, both of which are very simple processes accessible from the Ergo levers.

Anyway, Flavio's got plenty to say so we'll hand over to him. Enjoy!

Interesting. But you aren't going to get far without pedals Flavio.... After watching some OCD white factory nonsense from McClaren cars yesterday it's nice to see that at least part of Campagnolo's factory looks a like a humble bike shop - with nasty picture on the wall and rag on the clamp to stop frame scratches. 4

it basically a proper factory, it's noisy and smells of cutting oil and it's full of big machines. There are some clean room bits – the EPS line is one – but we weren't allowed in them 1

Any plans for non-flash versions of the videos? I realise I may be on a pretty niche device, but it's all I have and I'd really love to watch some of these videos.
