Fantasy Cycling: Tour of Qatar stage 1

Boonen in the lead on the tarmac, who's top virtual DS?...

We've had our first look at who's got the legs out in Qatar, then. And it was Tom Boonen who triumphed, showing the new guard how the do it in the old school. Adam Blythe of BMC ran him close, with Peter Sagan running in third. But who's top of the Fantasy Cycling pile this afternoon and the winner of a Green Oil Eco-Rider kit like this one?

Assuming it doesn't go to a recount it's non other than user stevemarks, whose skiddlers skeletons racked up an impressive 195 points, good enough for 18th overall in the high score league and a great start to the Tour. Steve (we're assuming that's his name) had the 1-2-3, plus contributing scores from Mark Renshaw, Robert Wagner, Gert Steegmans and Adam Hansen. Seven scoring riders out of nine, not bad for the first stage of a tour!

So there'll be an Eco-Rider kit winging its way to you in the forzen wastes of East Anglia, and another one up for grabs tomorrow. Remember it's a Team Time Trial, and you have two free transfers to play with. Good luck!

Because we've got more games we've opened it up a bit this year with different sponsors for different games. I think I'm right in saying that Evans will be back for the big Tours… our people are talking to their people apparently 3
