Bikes from the 2013 Trek range and Tommy Voeckler’s Tour leader’s yellow Colnago C59 from last year will be on display at the Surrey Hills Road Race Festival that’s situated alongside the Olympic route at the end of the month.
We’ve already told you that Fabian Cancellara’s yellow Tour de France Trek Domane will be there – the one that the Swiss rider rode during the first week of this year’s race when he wore the race leader’s jersey. The Voeckler Colnago C59 that will be on display was his back-up bike; his number one machine is in the Colnago museum.

East St Cycles will be at the expo offering the first public viewing of models from next year’s Trek range. The Surrey-based retailer isn’t sure of all the models they’ll have yet because the range has only just been launched, but they’ll certainly have new Madones and Domanes.

The Surrey Hills Road Race Festival is a free event for anyone heading to the area around Box Hill – which the men’s race passes nine times. The race route is right outside the Festival and you won’t miss any of the action from the rest of the circuit thanks to the big BBC screen in the Festival grounds.
The Surrey Hills Road Race Festival will take place at Denbies Vineyard on the A24 just outside Dorking, Surrey. It’s a 5-minute walk from Dorking mainline and Deepdene stations. The A24 will be closed to motor traffic on Saturday and Sunday but you’ll be able to walk and cycle to the festival and there’s secure bike parking on site.
The Festival will be open from 8am to 7pm on both Saturday, 28 July – the day of the men’s road race – and Sunday, 29 July – the day of the women’s road race.
