Innovative features and sleek design help Cannondale's Morphis Shell jacket stand out from the rest. Its versatility ensures a great investment.
This jacket has rather cool magnetic poppers which enable super ‘quick release’ from jacket to gilet, and back again. The sleeves detach as a whole; making it so quick and easy, you won’t even have to stop moving. You can act out any ‘Full Monty’ aspirations you may harbour, at the same time as keeping thermo-regulated! What more could you ask for?
The Morphis Shell is windproof and waterproof, breathable and packs down small. The jacket-gilet combo means it’s useful for any season. Made from 69% Nylon and 31% Polyurethane, it’s suitable for training and commuting, but you may get a bit sticky during intense sessions, due only to the fact that waterproof fabric in general is less breathable than other materials.
The overall look is bang-on; stylish, well-designed - a bit different: what you’d expect from a Cannondale product. White reflective material is an original and safe choice, and looks really smart.
In addition, it has lots of zipped pockets for secure storage (rear, chest and hand), and a reflective trim on the front zipper and the back, for greater visibility. It’s also adjustable at the hem.
The only downside is the single-layered waxy-feel sleeves: you’ll need a long-sleeved base layer underneath for maximum comfort.
It might save me from trying and failing to do a track stand . For that, a worthy investment
£459 would be more than cost of the bike I ride to work !!!...
