A good multi-use top, this: smart enough to wear off the bike, technical enough to perform on it as well. There's a bit of an issue with sizing but other than that it's a good buy, especially as it's currently half price on the Bspoke site.
So what it is it? Well, it's a cardigan. Sorry, 'full zip knitwear'. The knit in question is fairly fine and half wool, half acrylic, and it's treated with a Teflon coating to resist showers. Does that work? Well, a bit, but if you go out cycling in the rain in a jumper then you can expect to get a bit damp.
What certainly does work is the fit on the bike – nice long arms and a slightly dropped back – and the nylon windproof insert across the front to keep the wind off your organs. I'm not a big fan of thumbloops and the sleeves were long enough that I didn't need them, but they're there if you want them.
For a thin top it's surprisingly warm, and under a jacket it wicks okay, although the windproof front section can get a bit clammy. The full zip allows you to get some air in if need be, and the discreet side pockets are useful. The neck is quite high and snug, and it's stood up to the washing machine with minimal bobbling.
A word on sizing: I'm 190cm and 98kg and finding the medium just about right for riding duties. If you mainly want to wear the Edgware off the bike then go for your normal size, but you might want to size down if you'll be giving it a lot of pedal time.
At the time of writing, the Edgware top is half price on the Bspoke website, £30.75. At that money it's a steal, so get over there before they run out...
Verdict
Good quality wool/acrylic top that's nicely designed for mixed use

That is indeed the medium...
Is that the medium you're wearing in the photo Dave? Over a shirt? Looks plenty big enough... I might just treat myself to one
