The buff is something of an institution for outdoor-types and this reversible storm version covers all bases surprisingly well. Retaining heat on the one hand while allowing unhampered breathing worn as a mask, comfort is markedly better than standard models in really cold weathers without turning clammy in milder, wetter contexts.

£2.99 from Aldi.
I'm generally a believer in you get what you pay for and am willing to pay higher prices for quality goods but really £28 for a bit of cloth. Come on!
I don't see how versatility can be used as an argument to justify the cost of an over-priced buff ... this buff is no more versatile than one costing half the price, or less.
I got my gran to make one. Took her 5mins.
I used to say the same but when you consider the numer of possible uses of the Buff, the price magically looks less steep. It can be a mask, a headband, a sweatband, a beanie hat or whatever you imagine (and possibly even more than that).
It's not cheap - that's a fact. But to me it's worth its price.
£28? ... someones having a laugh...
