Lezyne marks 10th anniversary with new range of digital pumps + tools and lights

It hardly seems like 10 years ago that Lezyne first wowed us with its beautifully designed aluminium pumps and tools, and to mark its first decade of continually raising the bar in the accessories market, the company has launched a new range of digital gauge pumps.

The new range is called the Year 10 collection and it certainly appears the company isn’t content to rest on its laurels just yet. Most interesting in the new product range is the Digital Pressure Drive (£59.99) pump.

Yes, that's right, it has a digital gauge integrated into the barrel of the pump. The pump is a little longer than the small size regular Pressure Drive and is rated up to 120 psi (8.3 bar) with a dual Presta and Schrader ABS Flex Hose. Presta and Schrader ABS Flex Hose. 

With tubeless tyres gaining a lot more ground in the road bike market, Lezyne has joined Bontrager and Topeak in offering a track pump that is designed to make inflating tubeless tyres a breeze. The Pressure Over Drive, available with a digital (£129.99) or conventional analogue (£109.99) pressure gauge, features a secondary chamber which is filled with air (up to 220 psi) and then quickly discharged by stepping on a foot operated lever, rapidly seating a tubeless tyre. The pump can still be used for regular tyre inflation duties and the extra long braided hose is capped with an ABS2 chuck compatible with Presta and Schrader valves.Presta and Schrader valves.

Designed for inflating huge mountain bike fat bike tyres (which can measure up to nearly 5 inches wide), the Micro Floor Drive XL (£49.99) is a miniature track pump that is designed to make inflating bigger tyres easy. Though it’s designed for fat bikes, it might be a useful pump for inflating larger gravel bike and cyclocross tyres, because it’s only rated up to 35 psi (2.4 bar). The larger barrel size is designed to deliver big amounts of air with each stroke and the foot peg and T-bar handle improves ergonomics. 

That’s enough pumping around, now for some tools. This is the Rap Co2 Tool (£29.99) a 21 piece multitool with, as its name suggests, a Co2 dispenser as one of the tools. It slides off the 5mm tool, so you can carry the Co2 canisters separately (on the bike or in a saddlebag or backpack) and always have a dispenser to hand.

The dispenser head is compatible with both Presta and Schrader valves and is made from aluminium. The rest of the multitool features most of the tool bits you could ever need, including a chain tool, tyre lever, spoke key, screwdrivers, range of hex bits, two Torx tools and even a bottle opener. That Hex Kit (£24.99) is a “professional set of hex wrenches for shop or home” which means the tools are made to a high standard for regular use by the home mechanic or shop mechanic. While a multitool is useful during a ride, you can’t beat the usability of a proper set of Allen keys for working on your bike, and these look to meet the requirements. There are nine bits from 1.5mm to 10mm, in a holder that folds open for easier access, and are ball-end for reaching trickier to access Allen bolts as they can be used at an angle. 

Lastly in the round of new tools, the Classic Hex Rod (£14.99) is available in 6 and 8mm with a Chrome Vanadium shaft and wooden handle, and will be useful for removing pedals. 

Lezyne has made successful inroads into the lighting market in the past few years, and the new Femto Duo (£24.99) is a new two-in-one safety light with an integrated helmet mount. This is a product that will really appeal to commuters wanting to boost their visibility on dark roads, with helmet-mounted lights already quite popular. 

It uses the regular Femto as the starting point and it has been adapted with front and rear lights in one unit with a plastic bracket that can be strapped to any vented helmet. The front light produces 15 lumens while the rear outputs 7 lumens, with three different modes for each and powered by CR2032 batteries, good for a run time between 30 and 60-hours.
