Mavic release new Autumn/Winter collection, with high-viz shoes and more women's lines added

The French brand have released a whole host of new kit for cooler climes, available to buy now

The new lines are all specific for dealing with adverse conditions on the road, with reflectives, thermal and weatherproofing protection all featuring prominently.

Review: Mavic Comete Ultimate shoes
The best cycle clothing to keep you warm this winter

Mavic have updated their Cosmic Pro H2O thermal winter jacket, which has a teflon treatment, reflective detailing and five pockets for storing ride essentials - coming with a big old £230 price tag. They've also expanded their women's-specific Sequence range, and there's a new convertible jacket (with removable sleeves), bib tights and jerseys available.

The new £150 Cosmic Elite Vision shoes takes an already popular line and add in reflective details for riding in low light. Mavic say the black and silver synthetic construction creates 360° visibility when illuminated without sacrificing any breathability.

We'll be looking to test some of the new kit soon, so keep an eye on our reviews section in the coming months...

Jack has been hooked on cycling since his student days, and currently has a Trek 1.2 for winter riding, a beloved Bickerton folding bike for getting around town and an extra beloved custom Ridley Helium SLX for fantasising about going fast in his stable. Jack has never won a bike race, but does have a master's degree in print journalism and two Guinness World Records for pogo sticking (it's a long story).
