Thanks joules1975 : ]
You are very right. We pride ourselves on the detailing, ride quality and finish quality of our bikes and always say that we are not simply 'selling a bike'. We are engaged from the first email or contact and support you through the buying process and out the other side, for the lifetime of your Mason ownership. The bikes are an investment and you are also investing in our time and support.

I've been able to ride the v1 Definition and Resolution on a couple of occassions - both truly lovely bikes. What I'm really waiting for though is for Mason to produce a full on Ti road bike rather than an all-road / gravel bike. The resolution and definition were so good that I'm confident that Mason could really produce something special here.
Hi Paul,
Thanks very much! Very glad you loved the bikes : ]
Come and visit us at the NEC Cycle Show in Sept re that Ti road bike...

I have to say that I love the look/style of the Mason bikes. I have never seen one in the flesh yet although I only live around the corner from them and frequently ride in some of their test areas.
If I had the available funds I would probably purchase this or the Bokeh.
Thanks so much!
Come and visit us and take a couple of bikes out on our riverside gravel/country lane test route. You are very welcome and we 100% guarantee zero sales pressure!

Looks and sounds great, as did the mk1.
"Mason worked painstakingly with Bear Frame Supplies (link is external) to make a rear dropout that would work for this specific bike. Many 3D printed prototypes later Mason and Bear arrived at a solution"
but that won't stop someone posting some blithe comment about it being overpriced because they can get a <insert model here> for less money, or some other spurious statistic, and totally missing the point. I'm not saying that people should necessarily choose one bike or another; I admire the thought-out innovations and it really is a fantastic to have such incredible options available to us.
Agree completely. There are many good bikes out there but the attention to detail can be somewhat lacking and ultimately dissapointing (e.g. the placement of the seat post bottle boses on my Merida Silex is really stupid!!).
Meanwhile the attention to detail on something like the Definition is great to see. Certainly that comes at a price, but buying a bike like this is about much more than just getting a bike.
I think you'll find BTBS is busy commenting on another article that the RRP of Shimano products is quite high.
He sure is... off on one as per.... setting timer to see how long he takes to deride this bike....
Sums this forum up perfectly.
Hi Simon E,
Thanks for your positive comments as always : ]
We worked very hard on those dropouts and I'm super pleased with the way the Res2 has turned out. It was well worth the extra time spent and I'm very glad I didn't take the easiest/quickest solution.
It's really good to get such positive feedback as this frameset is very close to my heart as it was the one that launched the Mason brand.
