If you’re after some wheels for the hill climb season, or if you just fancy something superlight, check out these ones from Parcours.
Built in conjunction with RyanBuildsWheels in Bristol, they comprise 20mm tubular rims laced to Tune Mig/Mag hubs with Sapim Super CX-Ray spokes — high end components, then.
The front wheel is radially laced with 16 spokes while the rear has 10 spokes radially laced on the non-driveside and 10 laced two-cross on the driveside.
The total wheelset weight is 900g.
With the tubulars fitted, the front wheel weighs 615g while the rear is 743g (excluding skewers). That’s a total of just 1,358g.

Parcours says that it doesn’t intend to launch these wheels as a regular retail product at the moment, but if you did want a set then they’d come in at around £1,200-£1,300 — a whole lot less than something like the AX Lightness 25T, say, with a claimed wheelset weight of 790g.
