The other cheap scam I've seen isn't really a scam as you don't get scammed but cheap prices pop up on Google, you click and it's just affiliate linking to an actual retailer. The scammer as such gets a cut of the sale.
That isn't the only site. I keep getting fb ads for £2k+ bikes going for £80, which I report, but there should be some system for prosecuting these scams.
Or maybe Facebook etc. could be more proactive in protecting their users?
Here's one https://topsbike.com/
90% off new bikes!
98% off a Di2 Dura-Ace !
I'm getting one for Christmas!
I do wonder how much of this stuff is actually fake and how much is Grey market getting on Shimano's tits.
exactly, when people have to wait three months for warranty parts replacement, it doesn't sound like the business has surplus stock to run through a clearance site at a discount.
