So how about and update on your Rose then?
Blimey, really? I buy a lot of bits from various LBSs but was thinking of a canyon for my next bike.
These look very similar to the Canyon bikes which are also sold direct from Germany.
Anyone well versed in shopping online won't have a problem with this selling model (except the LBS who have, in some cases, refused to work on online purchases!).
After some delay as a result of the volume of orders I should be giving the Rose a thorough test in the next week as it is build and en route from Germany. Cant wait.
We reviewed the pro sl 3000 when rose were still calling the bikes Red Bull:

did very well, they make 'em stiff over in germany... good roads
Yup that was the review that swung it for me when I was still in the dithering stage; I've got another 10 kgs over the reviewer, so Messrs Rose owe you!
Agree with you comments about the Prologo Nago Evo saddle also and the directional stability on descents.
Certainly a huge and satisfying step up from my elderly LeMond Alpe d'Huez which was a 105 equipped ally frame with carbon at both ends.
That website of theirs is fun isn't it - I just wish they'd build in a set of scales at the same time.....
Oh, and when I phoned them up in Germany for fear of having made a horlicks of the ordering process I got straight through to an English speaker and was dealt with professionally.
yours still with a smile
David.
(rain today - staying indoors)
I have gone for black, but the components I chose add a bit of red to the mix.
Saddle, bar tape, tyres etc.
Yaay!
So there is someone else who has heard of Rose. I took delivery of a Rose Pro-SL 3000 a couple of weeks back and apart from a long old wait for delivery am as pleased as chuff with it.
Ally frame, carbon forks, full ultegra all round plus a bit of upgrade to Continental GP4000 tyres on DT Swiss R1500 wheels and Dedra bars. Cost was £1560 delivered down to the far south of France and real life ready to roll all up weight is 8.520 kgs ( 59cm frame, basic Keo pedalry and a triple ring the Pyrenees and old age being where I am at).And delivered by the cutest replacement postie I've ever clapped eyes on - now how did they manage that?
Superbly put together and five minutes out of the box it was ready to roll. Like I say - pleased as a very pleased thing - agog to read more about your views when it arrives.
