This could catch on: Drivers 'not going out at night' because of bright headlights issue
American history
I had to look this one up:

It's only for a minute
Not cycling, but, still...

And his take on the browning onion lie...
https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/picture/2024/mar/15/the-caramel...
Which has the rather tenuous link in that when I'm cooking down onions I think about cycling and when I'm riding I often think about browning onions. Seemingly I spend quite a bit of time on the bike and cooking onions.
West Portholland - I made a funny (see Drivers and their Problems about a week back from now if you need the context)

With apologies
My brother bought me this mug - no occasion, just "saw this and thought of you".
.
isn't it nice that Big Jazza here hasn't been ruined by a childhood diet of Carry On films and later the internet?
I wanted to get a picture of the front of the car, but it's the wrong way around for that.
Looking at no-one in particular
The bottleneck
Ah, Clevedon
Drivers - this wibbly-wobbly street is totally crazy the council must be mad
me - any alternative plans to stop killing 4-5 people every day, seriously injuring another 60-70?
drivers - usual blend of denial and incomprehension
me - ok then, on we go with calming measures and default 20 mph

Oi mate
I also have doubts about the future of Tesla
That article is far too kind to Moses. I highly recommend reading The Death and Life of Great American Cities. Despite the title, it applies to cities worldwide.
I did actually see a Tesla with a "We bought this before we knew how horrible he is" sticker on it.
What are you getting him?
Some kind of lens cleaner apparently
It really feels like we're living in some sort of SF dystopian novel, doesn't it?
This one is my favourite so far:
A suggestion.
PKD foresaw it, though his novel was based on a different outcome of WWII, not the precursor to WWIII. Maybe the Idiocracy film is a closer fit?
If he has a birthday coming up…
Tempted to get him a sweary birthday cake like in The Thick Of It.
FWIW, I thought the mug was funny. I've got 2 brothers and we all take the piss out of each other a lot.
I'm reminded of when my sons bought me this mug for Christmas when they were teenagers. Baller.
Yep, laugh it up at the Tesla owners eco hippies, but the danger is that it gets caught up in the wider EV / petrol forever hate. Not sure why people in proper cars are going to pass you unless who have indeed ditched your Tesla and are walking.
