Nice article JPW
Firstly, it would be nice to squeeze a few rides in with you at some point as last year was a crazy one for you! As for my goals, well there are numerous again this year.
To squeeze a 23 something on a fast 10 course somewhere
To do a 25 something round the Peterborough CC 10 course (near Southey Woods)
To complete the 154 mile Flat Out in the Fens course in June whilst raising £1,000.00 for charity along the way
I fancy doing more 25 mile TT's and would like to do a 50 miler towards the end of the season
To catch up with that bloke we rode with (Andy Lane) back in our Clarion days as 16 & 17 year olds.
To continue to grow www.yaxleyriders.co.uk (which JPW and I founded nearly 3 years ago), more riders & more organised rides in 2012 (looking good so far if the traffic on our facebook group is anything to go by.
And, and, and........
Well we will just have to see what else comes along!
Have a great 2012 everyone
I'm aiming to resolve my knee issues, join a club, ride a few sportives and maybe a couple of '10's.
Well this occasional commuter and lazy weekend rider might be in a bit of a pickle. I'm aiming for 170 miles on a tandem one day in June. Hadrian's Cycleway, racing some walkers doing half that distance with 4 days head start. My companion's just had a baby too, and I've got 3 kids and a job. It'll be fine... training's for wimps.
All the best with it
Boots! Good to see your update. And what a year you've had...
My goals for the year include taking part in some local time trials, audaxes at 200, 300, 400 and 600km, and some cyclo-cross in the autumn... Finances for a 'cross bike permitting.
I look forward to following your exploits.
How's the singlespeed working out? Are you riding fixed yet?
