Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be part of the leading peloton during a stage of the Tour de France? Well wonder no more! Join a team of 15 cyclists as we saddle up and 'Ride the Tour' for Butterwick Hospice.
Beginning in Ripon and winding through the Yorkshire Dales, this 98-mile section of the Stage 1 of the 2014 Tour de France will combine challenging climbs with spectacular scenery. You will be provided with all food, refreshments, technical back up and Tour de France insights - including lunch at Simonstone Hall and afternoon tea at the Dales Bike Centre.
With entry costing only £49 + £300 minimum sponsorship, this is a fantastic opportunity for confident riders to experience the challenges of riding the Tour first hand. It is not recommended that those under the age of 16 take part, however if the do they must be accompanied by an adult. Any rider under 18 must have a parental consent form signed - this is provided upon request.
