Wiggle Wye Valley Warrior
Riders will zigzag the river several times soaking in the views of the sheer cliff faces and the powerful river below. Along the way you’ll pass some iconic landmarks such as Tintern Abbey. After reaching Monmouth you’ll head into the Forest of Dean and experience roaming wildlife and spectacular Alpine Trees before heading back across the border into Wales and to the foothills of the imposing Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains which provide a picture postcard backdrop.
The climb to Gospel Pass will reward the epic route riders with some of the highest pedalling of our events with views that exceed the effort! This arguably may be one of the best views of any of our Sportives As you head back to Monmouth via Abergavenny, riders encounter a challenging climb rewarded with breath-taking views of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. - See more at: http://www.ukcyclingevents.co.uk/events/wiggle-wye-valley-warrior-sporti...

Hyponatremia is a real risk even for an amateur cyclist or runner in hot weather. I've bonked from it before, and I was drinking Gatorade the whole...
in the UK we have policing which to a greater or lesser extent relies on assistance from members of the public......
Just wanted to share a quick thank you to everyone who helped out in this thread....
So...don't cycle on it. Lots of other routes around that area. Source: I used to work there.
