A cycle sportive through what is one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
This sportive starts and finishes near West Bay in Dorset and will take you through countryside that simply is breathtaking.
There will be three route options, SHORT, MEDIUM AND LONG
SHORT
The short is a relatively easy 48km (30 Miles), An ideal opportunity if you are new to Sportive riding or you just want to experience a sportive event, we are happy for under 16's to attend for FREE, as long as they are accompanied with an paying adult, all riders inc under 16's will get the full experience and will visit a feed station to refuel on route.
MEDIUM
The medium route will be 100km (60 miles), 1067m of climbing and Long enough to test even the hardiest of cyclists who think taking on the rolling hills of Dorset will be an easy task, two feed stations will be available.
LONG
The long is a leg burning 160km (100 miles), with 2500m of climbing which has been designed for regular cyclists and should not be attempted unless you ride at least 50 miles a week or if your legs are made of steel or your looking for a Major challenge, with three feed stations on offer, have we laid down the gauntlet, as Jens Voigt would say "SHUT UP LEGS"
If he's not charging VAT yet then it would appear he's making well under 25 bikes per year currently. 8 full builds at 10-15k would send you over...

Fair enough, personal experience may trump (not that one) theory. However, the bonking I have experienced has been due to lack of carbs. Your point...
Agreed, but he was still right to publicise the event. The police, if they're anything like Lancashire, will do nothing at all.
mdavidfrodo?
