Langholm, Scotland Sportive
Our Langholm Sportive event is run as part of the Muckle Toon Adventure Festival (MTAF) and is a great weekend for all the family with loads going on. Kids activites include Archery, MTB skills course, bird ringing, orienteering and stream dipping amongst others. You have a non-cyclist with you? then there’s 3 different trail runs from 5k to a half marathon and if they want something a bit less energetic then there is a range of guided walks to keep them busy whilst you are out on your bike. There is plenty of local accommodation available and camping on site, but all details are here.
This ride is stunning from the start; as you work your way up the valley floor, passing silent wind turbines and vast rolling panoramas of the border hills, the natural beauty of the wilderness is evident. The charm of this ride is however mirrored with some challenging sections; for those on the short route, dig deep as you cross Kirtle Water and start the steep ascent. Once you reach the summit it's time to get tucked down for the five mile "Catch Me If You Can" descent back to Langholm. Those on the medium and long routes will find a real sting in the tail; a 21% climb reveals itself with 7 miles to go followed by a further three and a half mile challenge to the Roxburgh/Dumfriesshire Border Sign. Let your legs recover slightly before the final push towards the ever beckoning Langholm Monument upon Whita Hill. Roll past the iconic Hugh MacDiarmid Memorial as you begin the exhilarating descent to Basecamp.

I bought 5 screw in storage hooks from local d.i.y store for £10. Does the same job 🤷♂️
Well it looks like they've got a page now. It says they'll accept video evidence but I haven't been through the whole process. Looks very similar...
Sorry, but the BBC is definitely tilting towards cycling after the Panorama debacle....
Unlikely. Not once he hears that it'll 'help Gore'.
Indeed I did. I can only assume the Mr Onion allowed himself to be interviewed and dropped himself in it by not accepting the caution. A caution...
Remember your hiplock D1000 is only as good as the street furniture it is attached to.
I feel this person's problems may be a little more deep seated than not wanting to pay ulez (although their car is exempt).
