Now in its third year, The Good Friday Sportive is the first in a series of events organised by Cyclopark, Kent’s premier cycling facility. With a choice of three distances, this sportive is the perfect way to start your Easter weekend.
After a warm up lap of the Cyclopark circuit, the route heads into the quiet lanes of the surrounding Kent countryside and offers up a challenge to both experienced and recreational riders who can expect some testing climbs, fast flats and exhilarating descents!
The route features the Pilgrims Way as it traverses the North Kent Downs, an area of outstanding beauty. Rochester castle is an impressive sight along the banks of the river Medway as to is Ightham Mote on the longer route. The bygone villages of Biddenden, Brenchley and Goudhurst feature along the way as you crank out the miles.
The routes are fully signed and supported with well stocked feed stations where riders can rest up, have a drink and a snack before hitting the road again.
Whatever distance you choose, you can be sure of a cracking day in the saddle with the Cyclopark Events team. At the finish you’ll be presented with a well-earned finisher’s medal and afterwards why not treat yourself to post ride massage or a tasty snack in the Cyclo Cafe.
