The historic York Cycle Rally returns in 2022 after a COVID break! Join us for a free, friendly and 100% volunteer-organised grand weekend of cycling on York’s Knavesmire.
Famous since 1945 as the annual ‘gathering of the cycling clans’, the York Rally draws cycle tourists and Audax riders; club cyclists and racers; vintage, veteran and retro cycle riders and experts; grasstrack and cyclocross racers; cycle campers and bikepackers; HPV and recumbent riders; everyday cyclists and many more.
It’s a grand, traditional and refreshingly non-commercial celebration of cycling in a family-friendly atmosphere, with camping on site.
If you're in York please do come along and take a look - you'll be most welcome whether you cycle or not!
And if you're from further afield, why not book a campsite pitch and make a weekend of it?
We’ll look forward to seeing you in June!

My mum always told me I'd inherited her 'hobbit feet', though as far as I'm aware we don't have any family in New Zealand.
Hyponatremia is a real risk even for an amateur cyclist or runner in hot weather. I've bonked from it before, and I was drinking Gatorade the whole...
in the UK we have policing which to a greater or lesser extent relies on assistance from members of the public......
Just wanted to share a quick thank you to everyone who helped out in this thread....
So...don't cycle on it. Lots of other routes around that area. Source: I used to work there.
My photochromic specs have just turned up in the post today
